I just acquired a beautiful model 34-1 with the serial number 576X2E17 and was hoping someone here could help me identify the year it was produced. You will have to remove the grips to see it.The model 29 began using a 3 letter prefix in 1983 during production of the 29-3. It can't be a no dash model 29 and have a 3 letter prefix serial number.
